The short answer
Take the blank price, add the decoration price for your quantity tier, and add $18.99 once if we are embroidering a new design. That is the whole formula. A Richardson 112 is $13.50 blank. Embroidery on it is $5.00 to $8.00 per hat depending on quantity. A laser-engraved leather patch is also $5.00 to $8.00. So the 112 runs $18.50 to $21.50 per hat all-in.

What moves the price
Quantity
Tiers break every 24 pieces. The biggest single drop is from 12-23 to 24-47 (about $1 per hat) and the next big one is at 144. Past 144 the per-hat price holds; a 1,000-hat order is priced at the 144+ rate.
Blank
The blank is the larger part of the price. A Richardson 112 is $13.50; a YP 6606 is $11.10; budget hats like the Valucap VC400 and Port Authority 8332 are quoted per job and land lower; premium hats like DRI DUCK and Flexfit land higher. Carhartt, Nike and OGIO caps are quoted per job under brand pricing rules.
Decoration
Flat embroidery and glued leather patch cost about the same at every tier. Sewn patches add $1.00. 3D puff, second locations, embroidered patches and screen-printed foam hats are quoted per job.
Customer-supplied hats
Bring your own blanks and pay only the decoration tier plus $2.00 per item handling. On 96 hats that is $6.00 + $2.00 = $8.00 per hat embroidered.

Questions
Is there a cheaper hat than the 6606?
Yes. The Valucap VC400 and Port Authority 8332 are quoted per job and usually come in under the 6606. They look like budget hats; the 6606 does not.
Does the price drop past 144?
The per-hat price holds at the 144+ rate. Very large runs (500+) can ask about volume terms on the quote form.
Are there hidden setup fees?
Embroidery is $18.99 digitizing once per design. Patches have no setup fee. Screens apply only to screen-printed foam hats, at $20 per screen per color.
