Minimums and price breaks on bulk trucker hats
Battle Born Clothing has no hard minimum on embroidery or leather patch. Prices break every 24 pieces. Knowing where the breaks fall can save real money on an order that is a few hats short of a tier.
No hard minimum
Twelve hats is an order. So is one, though the 12-23 tier price applies. The table starts at 12 because that is where the per-hat price becomes worth quoting; below that you pay the same decoration price as 12.

The blank price does not change with quantity; only decoration does.
What counts toward a tier
- Same decoration, any hat color: all count together. 100 black and 44 navy hats with one logo are 144 pieces.
- Same decoration, different styles: count together for the decoration tier. 72 Richardson 112 and 24 Richardson 115 with one logo are 96 pieces. Each style keeps its own blank price.
- Different logos or different thread colors: separate designs, priced on their own quantities.
- Embroidery and patch on different hats: separate tiers.
When adding hats lowers your total
Totals near a break can go down when you add hats. Richardson 112 embroidered: 140 hats at $19.50 = $2,730.00. 144 hats at $18.50 = $2,664.00. Four more hats, $66 less. The same effect happens at 24 and at 48.

Planning the quantity
Count the people, then add. Crews turn over, hats get lost, and a client always asks for two more. For a company hat, order about 15 percent over headcount and round up to the next break. For merch, order what you expect to sell in a season plus a reorder buffer, because a 24-hat reorder is priced at 24-47, not at the 144 rate you paid the first time. For an event, order to the headcount of staff and sponsors and skip the giveaway hats unless the budget is real.

Reorders
Reorders are priced on their own quantity. A 24-hat reorder is 24-47 pricing even if the first order was 144. We do not charge digitizing again.
Customer-supplied hats
Same tiers, decoration only, plus $2.00 per item handling. Spoilage allowance is about 4 percent by industry standard; we aim for zero and will tell you if a style is risky.

Questions
Can I order fewer than 12 hats?
Yes. You pay the 12-23 decoration price per hat.
Do price breaks apply to rush orders?
Yes. Rush is quoted on top as a per-job charge; the tier pricing stays the same.
